Although a native of New York, Tracy graduated from Tulane University in 1986, before receiving her Juris Doctorate at Brooklyn Law School and returned to New Orleans over 17 years ago.
While living in New York, Tracy was an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County for over 5 years. She is at home in a court room thanks to the experience she earned at the District Attorney’s office with extensive misdemeanor and felony trials, presentation of over 125 cases to the grand jury and homicide grand jury, oral argument before appellate court, and countless hearings.
Tracy has been practicing law for over 20 years, and is experienced in litigation including products liability, casualty insurance defense and criminal law. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and St. Tammany Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in Louisiana and New York. Tracy has the highest possible AV Preeminent rating in the Martindale-Hubbell directory.
