Education
- Chandler D. McCoy is a native of the Northshore, growing up in Mandeville and Abita Springs and graduating from Fontainebleau High School.
- She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Political Science, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2016 and her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law in 2019. While in law school, she participated in FSU’s Veteran’s Legal Clinic serving the indigent veteran population of Tallahassee and assisting them in resolving a variety of legal issues.

She is authorized to practice in all Louisiana State Courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.“Parental Rights” presented to AFCC-LA Northshore Group Fall 2014, discussing the legal impact on parental rights as it relates to children in need and termination of parental rights.
Chandler’s main area of practice is family law but she has also practiced in general civil litigation, corporate and business litigation, personal injury, and defense of public entities/subdivisions
